How to request deletion

Email support@contractorsmarketplace.co with the subject “Delete my account”. Send it from the email address on your account if you have one; if your account has no email on file (possible when you signed up with Facebook), tell us the name on the account and how you sign in, and we will verify it with you before deleting anything. Deletion is completed within 30 days and confirmed by reply.

What gets deleted

• Your account: display name, email address, password hash, sessions.
• Any Google or Facebook sign-in identity linked to it, including the name, email and provider identifier the provider shared with us.
• Your job posts and their photos, your saved searches and alerts.
• Messages you sent. The other party keeps their side of the conversation.

What deletion cannot cover

A contractor's licence listing — business name, licence number, status, and the address the register publishes — comes from the California CSLB public licence register. Deleting a claimed account removes everything the claimant added (bio, photo, contact details, service area) and returns the listing to its unclaimed, register-only state; the public record itself is the CSLB's, and corrections to it go through the CSLB.

If you signed in with Facebook

This page is our data-deletion instructions for Facebook Login. The request above removes everything we received from Facebook — your name, email address and app-scoped identifier. Removing the app's permissions inside Facebook (Settings → Apps and Websites) stops any future sharing but does not delete what we already hold; the email above does.
